Welcome to Acuherb Good Health Centre

Acuherb Good Health Centre specialises in the treatment of chronic and acute health conditions using a variety of traditional holistic therapies including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, massage therapy and spinal therapy. We believe that the best path to optimum health is achieved by treating the patient as a whole - structurally, functionally, emotionally, psychologically and energetically. Treating the causes, not just the symptoms, will lead to or maintain a well-balanced immune system which is the best healing mechanism.

History

The centre was established in 1994 and has already treated over a thousand patients. The centre earned a reputation for outstanding results, helping people with all kinds of illnesses. The Prince’s Trust funded Acuherb Good Health Centre where many of the clients have been recommended. Doctors and staff working at the centre are professionally trained, very experienced and have a variety of specialities which meet the individual’s needs.

Benefit

Traditional holistic therapies offer a safe and effective method of treatment for all kinds of ailments including chronic or recurring discomfort in the limbs, joints, neck and back. They are of particular benefit in the treatment of pain resulting from arthritis and sports injuries. In the centre, we have successfully used the holistic approach to treat ailments such as infertility, IBS and stress related problems. We have also treated diseases such as Raynaud’s disease (gangrene), muscular dystrophy, diabetes, strokes, epilepsy, endometriosis, myasthenia gravis and lupus. Treating these chronic and difficult diseases by using the holistic and natural approach is much more gentle and non-invasive. Treating the root of the problem rather than controlling the symptoms is often more effective and generates much better results than using conventional medical approach alone.

We are actively involved in healthcare promotion. Our experienced medical professional has given talks at educational establishments, health organisations, communities and schools. We have been interviewed by BBC Leicester Radio and videoed by the Prince’s Trust.
